- Have your travel route well planned.
- If a car bumps you or an unmarked police car pulls you over; Make sure you don't get out of the car until you are in a well lit and public location.
- Always put small children in a car seat located in the back seat of the vehicle.
Hotel Safety
- Watch your luggage at all times.
- Include a flashlight in your luggage and keep it by your bed.
- Use both your room's deadbolt lock and chain when you are in the room.
- Make sure windows are locked.
- Verify the room phone works.
- Don't leave valuables in your room; Use the hotel safe.
- Use your peephole before opening the hotel room door.
