Child ID Kits |
A lot of organizations are now providing low cost or free
child ID kits. Several of these kits are incomplete. Make
sure the kit do not only provide DNA and fingerprinting.
A current picture of the child should be in the kit.
(both a printed and digital image) The kit should also
include contact information for their closest friends and
family. Include the height, weight, eye and hair color and
any other identifiers for your child.
The list of friends and family allows you to search
for the child quicker. One of these people might have the
clue you need to find your child. The pictures can also be
used to distribute and even create a missing person poster.
View an example contact list.
Any of these items can be easily added to an existing kit.
You don't need to spend a ton of money to create a complete kit.
